George Dorfman

George Dorfman is the Global Director of Cell and Gene Therapy at Mission Bio, where he's led the development and implementation of the first single-cell assays deployed in GMP environments to directly quantify CQAs for drug product characterization. His focus throughout his 15-year career has been primarily in advanced therapy development and associated assays, and translational oncology diagnostics strategy.  His research at Rutgers University involved optimizing targeted differentiation of iPS cells; while there, he and his lab also contributed to the validation of Celgene Cellular Therapeutics' placenta-derived NK cell expansion platform, which subsequently led to the spinout of Celularity from CCT.
