Francesco Lanucara

Francesco Lanucara is a Senior Technical Specialist in Allergan biologics, where he works as part of CMC teams to lead analytical method development and characterisation of gene therapy products according to current regulatory guidelines. Francesco received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Rome in 2005, after which he embarked on a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Manchester and University of Liverpool, working on the analysis of protein phosphorylation by novel mass spectrometric techniques. He moved to Waters corporation UK in 2014 where he was a Biopharma Senior Scientist for 4 years, developing methods for routine and advanced characterisation of protein therapeutics. He joined the characterisation team in Allergan biologics in 2018, where he’s been working since.
