Elsa Gorre is a Senior Scientist in the Cell Engineering & Early Development Group (CEED) at Janssen. In this role, she provides analytical support through protein characterization for the high-producing manufacturing cell line. Elsa is responsible for leading a small team in developing mass spectrometry methods in characterizing biotherapeutics and quantitating both peptides and small molecules.
Elsa has been with Janssen for 4 years. She received her PhD in Mass Spectrometry studying microorganisms’ identification using MALDI time-of flight (TOF) from Drexel University and a B.S. in biochemistry from Philadelphia University.
