Daniel Skomski

Daniel Skomski is a Principal Scientist at Merck & Co Inc in the Digital group of the Analytical R&D division. He received his PhD in Materials Chemistry from Indiana University studying the fabrication of nanomaterials via self-assembly using microscopic and spectroscopic characterization tools. At Merck he has worked on many programs in small molecules, biologics, vaccines, and long-acting delivery. His expertise includes predictive modeling and computer vision-based image analysis. He co-chairs an IQ industry consortium working group on predictive stability and has authored >30 peer-reviewed journal manuscript publications.
