Byron Fan

Byron Fan, M.S., graduated from Santa Clara University where he pursued a double major in Biology and Music. He then obtained a Master’s in Biotechnology from Northwestern University. As an intern at Lilly, Byron investigated alternative approaches for developing and optimizing ELISA methods. Since joining Lilly full time in 2022, Byron has developed and optimized bioassay methods for a variety of therapeutic modalities. Byron is a two-time Lilly Innovator Award recipient. He was also selected as a Top 100 Lilly Innovator Award Winner in 2025.
