Bhavin Parekh

Dr. Bhavin Parekh received his Ph.D in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of California at Irvine followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular and Cell Biology from Harvard University. Dr. Parekh has been in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for over 23 years and is currently an Associate Vice President at Eli Lilly and Company. Dr. Parekh has deep expertise in various aspects of biologics drug development, particularly in analytical/potency method development and control strategies for biologics such as antibodies, bispecific mAbs, ADCs, peptides, RNA therapeutics and gene therapy. He is an active member of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) expert committee on bioassays and is the chair of the CaSSS Bioassay committee.
