Bhargav Patel

Bhargav completed his bachelors in Biomedical Sciences from Southern Illinois University. Bhargav joined AbbVie in 2015 working in Analytical R&D department. During this time, he worked on small molecules and biologics, especially the early ADCs. In 2018 Bhargav became member of the process development group, working on multiple projects. Furthermore, he took responsibility to expand AbbVie’s clinical in-use knowledge, improving the design of studies to allow for very low concentrations and the use of closed system transfer devices. Bhargav has also acted as formulation lead for early stage biologics and high-aseptic risk preparation for an absolute bioavailability study. In 2020, he received recognition within AbbVie for his contribution on developing a control strategy for the clinical in-use administration of the low water-soluble and light-sensitive compound.
