Anthony Blaszczyk

Dr. Anthony Blaszczyk works in the Global Biologics Department at US Pharmacopeia (USP). At USP, he is based in the Pipeline Development group, which works closely with scientific experts and stakeholders to develop new standards to support needs in the biopharmaceutical community. Anthony specifically focuses on the development of new standards, both documentary and physical, in the area of Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT). As the CGT field continues to grow, USP continues to apply more resources to meet the demands for CGT standards. Prior to USP, Dr. Blaszczyk received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Penn State University in 2018. More recently, he was at Catalent, where he managed an Analytical Development team at Gaithersburg and Rockville. At Catalent, his team focused on developing, qualifying, and transferring analytical methods to support AAV production. Anthony gained experience working with many different AAV serotypes and developing a full array of analytical methods for each serotype.
