Alpana Naresh

Alpana Naresh, Ph.D., is currently Senior Director, CMC Operations at Harpoon Therapeutics. She is responsible for manufacturing of Harpoon’s TriTAC and ProTriTAC biologics that direct T cells to fight cancer and other diseases. Harpoon has multiple clinical stage drug candidates, with additional compounds in preclinical development. Harpoon aims to move drug candidates from discovery to clinical development in an efficient and timely manner while working with various CDMOs and CROs to produce both Drug Substance and Drug Product. Alpana manages transfer, development and manufacturing of various products from Cell line development to DP filling including analytics for release and stability of Drug substance and Drug product at various CMOs and CROs. Alpana is responsible for regulatory strategies and filing for IND and IMPD including amendments and comparability for any changes. Prior to joining Harpoon, Alpana was Principal Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim, Fremont, responsible for team engaged in development of Drug Substance for early and late stage products both internally and for external partners. She has also worked at JSR Life Sciences, evaluating various chromatography resins and Chromasette device; Sutro Biopharma, developing cell free protein synthesis process and Pfizer (Rinat) collaboration on neurotoxic peptides; and Genitope (personalized IgG immunotherapy).
