Ahmet Ayar

He brings a considerable body of experience relevance to critical appraisal training of health science academics on assessing the quality of medical publications to detect biases, flaws in design and methodology, as well as collaborative research and informal relationships for university–industry knowledge transfer. He has contributed more than 100 workshops on crtitical evaluation of evidence appraisal of medical literatüre. He has experience on review process of research projects as well as administrative management of Project funding in health scence field. After obtaining a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (University of Aberdeen) he went to academia involving both teaching and performing scientific research. His research area involves cellular neuroscience, smooth muscle and neuroendocrine mechanisms. He has a considereable international experince being trained and worked in University of London, University of Aberdeen (including 5 years of honoroy memeber of staff), University of Duesseldorf, and Firat and karadeniz Technical University. Prior to his current role, Dr. Ayar was at Medical School involved in mainly teaching physiology and pharmacology and leading research in neuroscience and cardiovascular field. He has published more than 120 full research paper, supervised 12 PhD and 20 MSC student. He is still associate editör of international journal Neuroendocrinology also president of Turkish Neuroendocrine Society. He is know leading the TITCK team to update regulatory issues in field of medicine, medical devices and cosmetics in Türkiyea.
