Adelheid Rohde

Adelheid Rohde is heading the Bioassay Section within Analytical Development & Quality Control at Roche, Basel in Switzerland. Her section is responsible for the development and validation of potency assays for biopharmaceuticals in clinical development phases as well as for routine testing and transfers to commercial QC. In addition the functional characterization of Roche’s biopharmaceuticals is within the section’s responsibility. Adelheid joined Roche in July 2015 in her current role as section head Bioassay. Prior to Roche she held various positions in the bioanalytical field in various International Pharma companies. Adelheid received her Master in Biology from the University of Stuttgart, Germany in 1993, her Master in Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Medicine from the University of Brussels, Belgium in 2005 and her PhD in Immunolgy from the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, Germany in 1997.
