Aaron Beach

Aaron has deep expertise biotherapeutic development across a diverse set of modalities with a focus on analytical development. He currently leads Analytical Research and Development at Verve Therapeutics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, where he has built the analytical development and quality control functions from the ground up since joining as the first analytical hire in 2019. His team is responsible for physicochemical, biophysical, and bioanalytical method development across Verve's in vivo gene editing pipeline, including novel extended characterization approaches for raw materials, drug substance and drug product. Aaron has authored Module 3 sections, Ph1 CTA/IND RFI responses and represented analytical strategy in scientific advice meetings with global health authorities for the VERVE-101, -102, and -201 programs. He previously held analytical and characterization roles at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Dow Chemical and Biogen and holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Dayton.
